Dance competition on December 29th!
Sign up for competition can be done during the Snowball camp.
In order to participate in competitions, competitors must hold minimum an evening pass for this night.

Sign up to Showcase and Strictly lindy has to be done in advance, send an e-mail to info@thesnowball.se with you and your partners name.

Rules
Strictly lindy (Sign up fee is 20 EURO per couple)
The focus in this category is social dancing with an emphasis on partnering, teamwork and musicality within the context of lindy hop as determined by the judges. Couples may be required to dance in heats, both individually and at the same time as other couples, to a variety of tempos. The division is limited to 15 couples. The final will be in jam style. Anything goes for content.

Jack & Jill lindy hop (Sign up fee is 10 EURO per person)
Leaders and Followers sign up individually. The division is limited to thirty couples. Partners are chosen at random. You will dance with more than one partner and to different tempos. Individuals will be chosen by the judges to dance the final. This division is open for everybody. Anything goes for content.

Jack & Jill balboa (Sign up fee is 10 EURO per person)
Leaders and Followers sign up individually. The division is limited to thirty couples. Partners are chosen at random. You will dance with more than one partner and to different tempos. Individuals will be chosen by the judges to dance the final. Any level of dancer may enter. Any form of Balboa and/or Balswing is allowed.

Showcase
(Sign up fee is 20 EURO per couple) This division is for lindy hop routines, competitors chose their own music. The division is limited to ten couples. Routines must be a minimum of two and a maximum of three minutes in length. Anything goes for content.

Solo Charleston
(Sign up fee is 10 EURO per person) Dancers must include charleston variations and may also include black bottom and vernacular jazz movements, but emphasis should be on charleston. Individuals will be chosen by the judges to dance the final. The finals will be danced in a jam format.
